One of our top fundraisers is the NYC based group, The B-Team! Their team captain, Bara Colodne took a moment to have a quick chat with us about her work with Cupid’s Undie Run.
She explores getting into the heart of why she runs: spreading love never looked like so much fun.

Interview with Bara Colodne
How did you convince your friends to join you?
I feel I don’t have to “convince” my friends to join me, they enjoy the day and most of all they enjoy supporting me!
Do you run in underwear or a costume?
The first two years that I ran, I ran in a nude leotard with my bra and undies over. Last year I wore a costume, a green dragon with my bra showing.
This year, you just have to wait and see!! 😊
You are crushing it with fundraising! Can you share tips of how you ask for donations?
I guess my friends and family just enjoy supporting me. If you are a kind person who spreads love, the love comes back to you.
What advice do you have for people who are unaffected by NF and don’t know how to fundraise?
Just spread the love. Truth is, I know most people who participate and don’t know someone (with NF) does it because it’s a fun day. But they are also doing a mitzvah. Keep on paying it forward and learn about Neurofibromatosis.
Spread the awareness and get it out there.
Spread it to family, friends, co-workers, everyone!
Do you have a favorite memory of Cupid’s Undie Run that you would like to share?
Last year when my team The B-Team came in first place for our fundraising efforts!
Thank you Bara for sharing a bit about why you run and for inspiring us!
